The commercial law firm Noerr has signed a lease with AGB Real Estate Group for 8,700 square meters of office space in the Oddo BHF Tower in Frankfurt am Main. Oddo BHF will vacate the building in 2024. From then on, the conversion of the high-rise building, which is located on the border between the Westend and the Bankenviertel, is to begin and will be occupied by the law firm Noerr from 2028 for an initial period of 12 years.
The revitalization is intended to transform the building into a more sustainable operation and provide it with modern, flexible workspaces. The conversion of the high-rise building near the Opernturm and Deutsche Bank is scheduled to start in spring 2024 and be completed by the end of 2027. The law firm Noerr justifies the lease with the central location of the property and the possibility to realize new office space and conference rooms at the highest level through the revitalization. The conversion of the listed high-rise follows the trend of sustainable modernization instead of a total demolition of the building fabric.
The architectural office of Prof. Christoph Mäckler will be responsible for planning the redesign. The total investment of the project amounts to approximately 400 million euros.
