A real estate project named Kreisler is to be built near the main train station. The new office building will have a height of 45 meters (148 feet) and will contain commercial use on the two lower floors. A total of around 25,000 square meters (269,098 square feet) of gross floor area is to be created. The architecture comes from the pen of the Frankfurt architects Faller + Krück. The Kreisler is being implemented by a 50:50 joint venture between the project developer QUEST Investment Partners and the investment manager Competo Capital Partners.
On the property at Baseler Strasse 46-48 / Gutleutstrasse 80-82 there is currently a building complex from the years 1957 and 1994, which the new building is to have twice as much space. The 4,700 square meters (50,590 square feet) area on the corner of Baseler Strasse and Gutleutstrasse is in the southernmost tip of the Bahnhofsviertel. On the opposite side is the Basler Oval office building with the Tribes location in Frankfurt Central Station.
The demolition of the existing commercial property is currently being prepared for the Kreisler project. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2021. Completion is scheduled for late 2023/early 2024.
