Built in 1993, The Centurion is located in City West in the Bockenheim district and, with its 75 meters in height and 17 floors, is one of Frankfurt’s larger office towers. The building was extensively renovated in 2008 and houses, among other things, the German headquarters of American Express. In 2013, the SIGNA Group purchased the property, and in 2016 the high-rise was again resold to Golden Star. Since 2022, PREOS Real Estate has owned and leased the building. In the course of its modernization, the building was awarded the LEED Gold sustainability certificate. In addition, the office building was the first building in City West to receive WiredScore Platinum certification.
The location of The Centurion is characterized by various stores, restaurants as well as bakeries in the close vicinity. A streetcar stop can be reached quickly on foot. Walking up to the building, one notices the glass façade that makes up the exterior character of the building. Ware lines make The Centurion timeless and create a high recognition value. The offices have large windows and rooms up to three meters high. Thus, a lot of natural light falls into the rooms and a pleasant atmosphere is created. The Centurion covers a usable area of around 28,700 square meters. There are 299 underground parking spaces for up to 1,300 users.
In the office tower, electricity consumption and CO2 emissions are drastically reduced through the use of efficient technologies, which among other things ensures the building’s economic viability.
