SOLID Home Frankfurt - Bauwerk Capital - new building - new apartments Frankfurt

SOLID HOME shell completed

Almost a year ago, the new SOLID Home residential tower in the European Quarter grew by an average of two storeys per month, and now the 66-meter (216 feet) high tower has reached its full height. The new construction project at Niedernhausener Strasse 13, a joint venture from Bauwerk Capital GmbH & Co.KG and Red Square GmbH, is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. SOLID Home will then have over 200 condominiums on a total living area of 15,250 square meters.

“We are very pleased that the construction work is going smoothly and that we are on schedule,” says Gerald Tschörner, Managing Director of Red Square, who is responsible for the organizational support and handling of the construction site. “The twelve-meter deep construction pit has now given way to a stately shell. Together with our general contractor W. Markgraf GmbH & Co. KG and thanks to the exceptional commitment of our 180 builders, we were able to complete this quickly and with the required quality, ”continued Tschörner.

As shown in this computer animation, the new high-rise SOLID HOME should look like from 2021.

Approx. 15,000 cubic meters of concrete and approx. 2,400 tons of steel were used for the shell of the high-rise building. The interior work on the basement had started before the completion of the shell and is ongoing. The windows and the facade are also installed. With the aluminum facade panels in a warm bronze tone and the glass balustrades of the balconies and terraces, the high-rise building has a striking face to the outside.

The architectural concept comes from the Frankfurt architecture office KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten. The stepped terraces of the tower face west. Two base buildings, each with seven floors, are grouped around a green courtyard. The different heights of the building were designed in such a way that they fit harmoniously into the surrounding buildings.

“With timeless architecture, high-quality equipment and amenities such as concierge, lobby, smart home and e-mobility, SOLID Home currently offers one of the most interesting price-performance ratios on the Frankfurt high-rise market,” says Jürgen Schorn, managing partner of Bauwerk Capital GmbH & Co. KG. “We can currently offer our customers apartments from the eighth floor upwards and we assume that we will have sold all units by the time of completion,” Schorn continued.
