A high-rise tower up to 120 meters (394 feet) height is to be built in Offenbach’s Kaiserlei district. The office tower projected under the working title Nordkap Tower has been intended as a dominant urban development on the freeway A 661 since the Kaiserlei framework plan. A large park is to be built to the east of the tower planned in the Kaiserlei – Nordost service area.
The developments are part of the Offenbach 2030 master plan, with which the City of Offenbach aims to gradually modernize itself.
Status August 2020: A multiple assignment for the Nordkap Tower (working title) has been started by commissioning four architectural offices. The winning design is to be determined by a jury after September 30, 2020.
