On November 6, 2022, the lord mayor of the City of Frankfurt, Peter Feldmann (SPD party), was voted out of office. After allegations of corruption, unworthy behavior in public, and sexist slogans, 64-year-old Peter Feldmann will have to leave his post in the coming months. The parties in Frankfurt’s Römer city hall now have four months to organize the new elections for the new mayor.
