The Eurotower is a skyscraper in the Financial District by architect Richard Heil. The Euro Tower is located at the corner of Kaiserstrasse, Neue Mainzer Strasse and Willy-Brandt-Platz. The characteristic Euro sculpture in front of the Eurotower indicates the importance of the building as the headquarters of the European Central Bank from 1998 to 2014. Even after the ECB moved to the Skytower, which was completed in 2014, the central bank has still remained as a tenant. The Eurotower is today home to the uniform banking supervisory mechanism (SSM).
The Eurotower was acquired in 2018 by PATRIZIA for Fubon Life, a Taiwanese insurance company.
Status September 2020: Eurotower receives a LEED certification for sustainability in existing properties.
