Amenities
Siemens AG is building an office ensemble in the Gateway Gardens urban district that will house the company’s new Frankfurt branch and provide external tenants with around 20,000 square meters of flexible office space in two buildings. A topping-out ceremony was held in June 2022 for the project, which is expected to be completed by 2023.
The Move consists of two buildings, one of which has been christened The Move Blue and the other The Move Orange. The rental spaces in both buildings feature a high degree of flexibility in the size of the rental units and the layout of the floor plans. All size requirements can also be accommodated due to the depth of the rooms. In addition to the office space, each building also has an underground parking garage with a total of 330 parking spaces, around 20 percent of which have the option of e-car charging stations.
The individual buildings are equipped differently:
- The Move Blue offers around 23,000 square meters of office space on five floors. Around 15,000 square meters of the building will be occupied by Siemens’ Frankfurt branch. The first floor features a foyer with a central reception area and a wide range of common areas that will serve as a complement to the tenants of both buildings’ individual leased spaces. With a total available area of approximately 12,000 square meters.
- The Move Orange offers space in particular for a single large company. However, due to a floor size of around 2,100 square meters, various tenants can also occupy the building.
In addition to the office space, there is also a wide range of shared facilities designed for a variety of work situations. In addition to the open lobby and the open work casino, this also includes a separate conference and co-working area with eleven meeting rooms of different sizes that can be individually designed. The facilities also include an experience restaurant and a day bar. In addition, the quality of stay is enhanced by several freely accessible, green inner courtyards. The entrée with a landscaped, public forecourt also contributes to this.
Siemens is aiming for sustainable planning and management with The Move, including possible LEED and DGNB certification. This is complemented by the use of the BIM planning method for capturing building data to ensure eco-balance. A healthy and pleasant indoor climate is to be ensured by state-of-the-art Siemens technology.
