TaunusTurm Residential is a 68 meters (223 feet) high and exclusive residential tower that was built at the same time as the TaunusTurm that gave it its name. TaunusTurm Residential has a light natural stone facade and has 44 high quality apartments. Each of the differently planned residential units receives a tailor-made furnishing concept as well as an individual kitchen and bathroom design – uniform in terms of design and yet individual in execution.

The architecture was designed by Gruber + Kleine-Kraneburg (Frankfurt) in cooperation with Jean-Paul Viguier S.A. d’Architecture (Paris). However, the implementation was carried out by Dietz Joppien Architekten AG and B&V Braun Canton Architekten GmbH. TaunusTurm Residential was built by Ed. Züblin AG until 2013. The residential high-rise has been constructed due to concessions made by the City of Frankfurt to the project developer Tishman Speyer.

Both TaunusTurm and TaunusTurm Residential were built speculatively (meaning without pre-letting large areas in advance).

TaunusTurm Residential was planned using ecological principles. From the beginning of the planning, the goal was defined to keep energy requirements and emissions low. Taunusturm Residential was implemented as a low-energy project that focuses on sustainable solutions in every detail. Components of the environmental balance: Sun protection glazing, water-saving technology, rainwater use, an efficient and intelligent elevator concept, individual office lighting and waste rooms with recycling zones. The building technology was implemented with Siemens building automation.
