For the 13,700 m² plot at the entrance to Frankfurt’s Europaviertel, the former Telenorma site, an ideas contest was launched at the beginning of the year. The 90m high ‘Tower 90’ for the Berliner gsp Städtebau was the main object of interest.
The proposal of the architectural firms, Jahn (Chicago) and Magnus Kaminiarz & Cie. (Frankfurt) won first place in a competition for a new project in the Frankfurt Europaviertel with its hanging gardens. A second place was not awarded. Ferdinand Heide Architekt BDA and KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten took third place.
