Blue Horizon is a residential tower on the site of the former Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hessen (KVH) in Frankfurt. The previously existing 19-storey office building is was repositioned as a residential building. The plans included four commercial units on the ground floor and 118 apartments with a total of 9,000 sqm of living space.
The façade of Blue Horizon was originally designed with a bluish tint, but in the intervening period, the design has changed to a natural sandstone look.
The project was developed by Unmüssig and has already been sold to an institutional investor. The investor is reported to be the company PATRIZIA.
Blue Horizon Planning and Construction
Status September 2019: The construction work on the Blue Horizon is over. The marketing of the rental apartments has begun.
Status February 2018: The existing building has been dismantled down to its original supporting structure.
Status September 2017: Construction work is in full swing.
