The Hotel Meliá Frankfurt City in the newly developed ONE FORTY WEST opened its new restaurant with skybar at a height of 53 meters in December 2021. In addition to 89 seats in the restaurant and bar area, there is also a roof terrace from which visitors have a great view of the Frankfurt skyline. But even in the restaurant, guests will be able to experience the 360-degree panorama at every seat thanks to floor-to-ceiling panoramic glazing and numerous mirrors on the walls, according to the official press release.
The authentic Mediterranean restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. It is named after the famous Spanish chef Iñigo Urrechu, who was largely responsible for the development of the concept.
The hotel space of the Meliá Frankfurt City extends over floors 1 to 23 of the new hybrid tower ONE FORTY WEST in the Senckenberg-Quartier in Frankfurt am Main. The restaurant with associated roof terrace is located on the 15th floor. Due to its location somewhat away from the two high-rise clusters in the Bankenviertel and Europaviertel, one can get a very clear and impressive view of the Frankfurt skyline from here. However, the hotel also charges a lot for the view: the appetizer price starts at 11 Euros, and you pay an average of 30 Euros for a main course.
