Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Börsenplatz Eschborn

In the direct vicinity of Frankfurt, the starting signal was given for the quarter development Börsenplatz Eschborn in Eschborn on Wednesday, June 29. The building ensemble consists of three independent construction phases. In total, the large-scale project will comprise around 52,000 square meters. A total of 1,000 parking spaces are already available in the parking garage. A further 380 are to be added in the underground parking garage, the construction of which will begin with the first construction phase. In addition, car sharing, e-scooter ports, e-charging stations and an above-ground bicycle garage with shower and changing facilities are planned. In the mixed-use quarter, 48,000 square meters are intended primarily for office use on the one hand, and on the other, there is to be space for retail and gastronomy on 3,200 square meters. The design is by Holger Meyer Architekten, while project development is by Gertler Real Estate.

In addition to the parking garage, the ensemble is made up of six different buildings, one of which is a high-rise with 17 floors:

  • Building A will contain 10,500 square meters of space for both offices and restaurants.
  • Building B is the high-rise and is planned as the last phase of construction. Here there will be 16,000 square meters for offices and gastronomy.
  • Building C will have 7,600 square feet of offices, a lounge and a gym.
  • For Building D, offices, a store and a bar are planned on approximately 6,000 square meters.
  • Building E, with seven floors for offices and a supermarket, covers 5,900 square meters.
  • Building F, with 5,700 square meters, will include a food court as well as office space.

The pathway linking the buildings and the green space will ensure appropriate revitalization of the neighborhood square.

The buildings are designed to be highly energy-efficient in terms of sustainability. They minimize CO2 in the EH-40 standard through photovoltaics and by means of geothermal systems with heat pumps, making Börsenplatz Eschborn one of the most modern office projects in the entire Rhine-Main regionDGNB Platinum certification is therefore also being sought.

The next step is the completion of the first construction phase by the end of 2024. The 22,000 square meters that will be created there will be used entirely by the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA).
