Offenbach on the Move – How the Booming City Is Getting Fit for the Future
Interview with Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke
The city of Offenbach is located directly east of Frankfurt. Offenbach has around 130,000 inhabitants and has grown by around 10,000 in the last 10 years. Offenbach has also shown great dynamism in urban development in recent years, with new properties and high-rise buildings being built in particular at the harbor as well as the Kaiserlei district.
Because of its great internationality, Frankfurt’s neighboring city is considered the arrival city for many new residents who choose the Rhine-Main region. Reason enough to talk to Offenbach’s Lord Mayor Dr. Felix Schwenke (SPD party) to talk about the developments.
