In Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen district, a new residential tower with 12 floors is being built at Kennedyallee 87. At this prominent location, the top of the tall buildings triangle between Stresemannallee and Kennedyallee, three old office towers will be demolished by the end of 2018.
The design of the new residential tower comes from Eike Becker Architekten (Berlin), who are already well-known in the Greater Frankfurt Area, for example for the design of the future FAZ skyscraper at the Europaallee, for ma’ro (Goethequartier Neue Mainzer Strasse) and for the Vitopia Campus Kaiserlei.
On the ground floor, office space and/or commercial space will be constructed. From the second floor onwards a total amount of 181 serviced apartments will be constructed. The project developer is the Prime Group from Düsseldorf, Germany. All apartments will be equipped with a balcony. However, the loggias and balconies at the busy Kennedyallee will not be of much use.
The architecture design has much visual appeal, and above all, it will calm the currently jagged building front at Kennedyallee.
