Blue Horizon is a new residential tower on the site of the former Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hessen (KVH) in Frankfurt. The previously existing 19-storey office building is currently repositioned as a residential building. The plans include four commercial units on the ground floor and 118 apartments with a total of 9,000 sqm of living space.
The façade of Blue Horizon was originally designed with a bluish tint, but in the intervening period, the design has changed to a natural sandstone look.
The project is being developed by Idleness and has already been sold to an institutional investor. The investor is reported to be the company PATRIZIA.
Status February 2018: The existing building has been dismantled down to its original supporting structure.
Status September 2017: Construction work is in full swing.
