160 Park View is located in the immediate vicinity of Goethe University and is a new type of double tower with hotel and residential use. In the 160 Park View project, an existing office building called Hochhaus am Park with 26 floors is being gutted and repositioned. Above a common base, two towers of different heights rise on an almost square floor plan.
The two towers are offset from one another and connected to one another over the entire height. The 27-storey residential tower contains approx. 130 freehold apartments and has a bright, open and transparent glass facade with opening wings, which is framed with plastic sheet metal panels. Loggias are arranged on all four sides of the facade and on all floors. The 20-storey hotel tower has a darker, but also transparent facade. A public kindergarten is also planned. The project development is the responsibility of a joint venture between RFR, Revcap and Hines.
The project developers have signed a long-term lease with the Gekko Group for the 160 Park View residential and hotel project in Frankfurt’s Westend. The corporate group of restaurateurs and hoteliers Micky Rosen and Alex Urseanu will operate the Roomers Park View in the 19-storey part of the hotel. 136 hotel rooms and hotel suites are planned on a gross floor area of 13,000 square meters (139,930 square feet).
The architecture comes from the Frankfurt architecture office KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten.
